    Natto-K™

    $47.24 $62.99
    Enzymedica Natto-K™

Natto-K™ contains specialized blends of enzymes including Nattokinase with NSK-SD®—the only form of nattokinase that does not contain vitamin K2—to enhance the body’s production of plasmin. Plasmin breaks down excess fibrin, which may improve circulation. Natto-K may help maintain already healthy levels of blood clotting factors within a healthy range.

Fibrin is a protein found in the blood. Maintaining healthy levels of fibrin promotes healthy coagulation of blood for an optimally functioning cardiovascular system.

    Discovery of Nattokinase

Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi, M.D. (a.k.a. Dr. Natto), a researcher of the Japan Ministry of Education and majoring in physiological chemistry at the blood laboratory of the University of Chicago, had long researched thrombolytic enzymes (enzymes that break down blood clots). Dr. Sumi found that a part of the Japanese food known as natto exhibited a strong fibrinolytic activity.1 Fibrin is a protein that forms and circulates through the blood and sticks to the walls of blood vessels. This is a contributing factor to the formation of clots, slows blood flow and increases blood viscosity (stickiness or thickness of the blood).

He named the corresponding fibrinolytic enzyme “nattokinase.” Dr. Sumi commented that nattokinase showed “a potency matched by no other enzyme.”

Natto-K, with nattokinase blend containing NSK-SD®, is a particularly potent enzyme formula which may enhance the body’s production of plasmin (the enzyme the body produces to dissolve clots), thus encouraging optimal heart health.*2

Natto-K was formulated to  contain a synergistic blend of  nattokinase, protease, lipase, amylase and cellulase Thera-blend™ enzymes to promote optimal circulation and support cardiovascular health.*
