Designs For Health Ultra Gamma E Complex

A full-spectrum vitamin E with MCT oil for superior absorption

This full-spectrum vitamin E product includes all 8 naturally occurring tocopherol and tocotrienol isomers that are found in nature. Studies suggest that both the molecular and therapeutic targets of the tocotrienols are distinct from those of the tocopherols. This product is in a base of MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides) for enhanced bioavailability of vitamin E.

Made with non-GMO ingredients.

Each serving contains:

Vitamin E  -  60 mg
High-Gamma Mixed Tocopherols  -  450 mg
High-Gamma Mixed Tocotrienols  -  20 mg

Other Ingredients: MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides); bovine gelatin, water, glycerine, annatto (natural color) (softgel ingredients)

Suggested Use

As a dietary supplement, take one softgel per day, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

More Info.

Taken orally, tocotrienols are bioavailable to all vital organs. Studies have shown that tocotrienols may exhibit neuroprotective, anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties, and may help to protect the skin from UVB damage.

The Teamwork of Vitamin E

While Ultra Gamma Vitamin E contains the complete cast of the vitamin E family, it delivers increased levels of gamma-tocopherol, the form of vitamin E most associated with expanded health benefits. Gamma tocopherol represents typically about 70% of the vitamin E consumed in a typical US diet. Recent research indicates that gamma tocopherol may be more effective than alpha tocopherol for prostate cancer prevention and reducing oxidative DNA damage. It should be noted that high doses of alpha-tocopherol deplete plasma and tissue gamma-tocopherol.

Medium chain triglycerides for superior absorption

Ultra Gamma E Complex is in a base of MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides) for enhanced bioavailability of vitamin E. GI absorption of this fat soluble vitamin is dependent on the simultaneous digestion and absorption of the particular fat that accompanies it. Research shows that MCTs have the distinct capability of helping to increase the solubility and thus improving the absorption of vitamin E.
