Seeking Health B Complex Plus does contain niacin and will cause a flushing effect if taken on an empty stomach. B Complex Plus contains over 100% of the daily recommended intake and contains the methylated (bioavailable) form of the vitamins. Most notably it contains 680 DFE (400mcg) of the active methylated form of folate known as 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF). This form is imperative for people have MTHFR gene variations who struggle to obtain enough natural folate from food.
It is always important to check any B vitamin complex for Niacin. It has a well documented warming or blushing effect that can be alarming. The tingling sensation is actually healthy and normal although it can feel uncomfortable.
