Water is vital to life and something we may take for granted. Â According to the World Health Organization (WHO) roughly 2 billion people live without clean water. The Flint Michigan water catastrophe is a shocking reminder that clean water is not always guaranteed, even while living in a 1st world country. Â
✔️ Start Drinking Clean Water
Although the water that flows from your tap may look clean, you don’t really now what it is in there. You can check your municipal water report or use a DIY water testing kit. If you are overwhelmed by water filter options, start with something simple, like a filtering pitcher or attachment for your tap, or filter for your refrigerator.Â

🛑 Stop Drinking Tap Water
There are very few states in the US that offer clean and safe tap water. Â Most of the water that comes from your tap is laced with pesticides, herbicides, medication residue, heavy metals, and chloramine. Keep in mind that the EPA only measures and sets limits on 90 contaminants while most of the population has over 316 contaminants flowing in their tap water. Â
