Sleep Cool

What is 1 thing you can STOP 🛑 doing in support of 1 thing you will START ✔️ doing to change your life by 5%?

What habits are worth your time and energy and which habits are not worth it? I've got 1 habit you can start and 1 habit you should stop, today!

We all love to feel warm and cozy during the cold winter months.  Your body naturally starts to cool down and slightly decrease body temperature during bedtime hours.  The optimal temperature for quality sleep is between 64-67 degrees.

✔️ Sleeping cool

You can go low tech by sleeping with a light blanket and minimal clothing to achieve cool sleeping or you can invest in cooling pads or water-chilled mattresses. Taking a cool or cold shower right before bed can both cool your body and reset your nervous system to prepare for sleep.

🛑 Stop cranking up the heat at night

While a warm bath may be relaxing, if you are having sleep problems, it may not be the best solution. Leave your thermostat at 65 degrees Fahrenheit and add thick blankets instead.

Moving the needle by small increments yields large results over time.✔️ Start supporting your life with foundational healthy habits and 🛑 stop sabotaging yourself.
