🚦 Start Using Real Salt

Unless you are a selmelier (salt expert), you probably don’t know about the mineral content in your table salt.  What we often refer to as “table salt” is usually just sodium with some added iodine.  On the other hand, real salt--- usually referred to as whole salt, sea salt, celtic salt, or unrefined salt---is full of minerals and flavor.  Consuming whole salts supports healthy mineral and water balance----which means less bloating and water retention.

🛑 Stop sprinkling sodium (table salt) on your food!

Common table salt is “purified” by removing all trace minerals except for sodium and then adding anti-cacking chemicals and iodine.  Table salt contains 90% sodium, which makes it easier to retain water or raise blood pressure than if you consume whole salts at only 85% sodium content.
