The Master Philosophy

by Carly Neubert, BA, NC , Updated October 01, 2025

Have you heard the phrase—‘jack of all trades, master of none’? This concept comes from the idea that if you spread yourself too thin, you may do decently in each area of learning you venture into but you will never truly master any of the areas, any of the trades. There have been many theories on how best to mitigate this challenge, balancing being well-rounded with achieving mastery. One way to do so is to join together and build with one another. Three Minnesota-based companies decided to do just that. In 2019 Master Supplements, U.S. Enzymes and Tomorrow’s Nutrition Pro joined together to offer a full range of probiotic, enzyme and fiber supplements, while maintaining their specialties. They are united in their commitment to transparency and high quality supplements. You can be sure that what is on the product label will indeed be what is inside your capsule/powder. In this blog we’ll discuss the Master Philosophy of these three companies, a bit about what each company specializes in, as well as some of their best selling formulas.

Master Philosophy

The Master Philosophy shared by Master Supplements, U.S. Enzymes, and Tomorrow’s Nutrition Pro aims to address true resolution of a patient’s issues and symptoms. Step one is about creating a foundation by supporting digestion and addressing dysbiosis if needed. Dysbiosis is a change that occurs in the microbiome of your gut. Your gut needs good bacteria to function properly, not enough or too much of any bacteria is what we would call dysbiosis. This imbalance can be the root cause of a wide variety of symptoms. This is why addressing dysbiosis comes so early on in the Master Philosophy. From there, if symptoms are still not resolved, systematic support is needed. This could be in the form of Immune Activation, Oxidative Stress Reduction, and/or Detoxification. If issues persist, it is best to venture into specific support. These would be supplements that target specific systems in your body rather than supporting your body as a whole. Supplements from all three brands fall into these various categories and can work well with one another.

Tomorrow’s Nutrition Pro

Tomorrow’s Nutrition Pro focuses on excelling in the world of fiber supplements. Their SunFiber® ingredient is their shining star, setting them apart in their field of expertise. They proudly proclaim that SunFiber® is “the most clinically studied fiber source on the planet”. Made to pair well with probiotics and enzymes, the simple active ingredients contained will offer support where needed to maximize the benefits of the tools offered by Master Supplements and U.S. Enzymes.

SunFiber

While SunFiber is found in a number of Tomorrow’s Nutrition Pro’s products, they have one that is titled SunFiber, as it is made of just that on its own! SunFiber is a regulating, all-natural fiber to promote digestive health. SunFiber would be best used in the ‘address dysbiosis’ step of the Master Philosophy. SunFiber is a powder that will dissolve into your beverage of choice and won’t alter taste or texture in your food so it could even be added to recipes, you will just need to stir SunFiber until it is dissolved. Delivering six grams of 100% soluble fiber, your gut can find comfort and regularity with SunFiber. To put this supplement to use, I suggest mixing one level scoop (7.0 g) into 6 - 8 ounces of water, a non-carbonated beverage, or into recipes when cooking and baking.

SunBalance

SunBalance is a combination of PEA, Luteolin, and Quercetin. This combination is meant to support your nervous system and cellular health. This specialized focus places SunBalance in that final step of specificity in the Master Philosophy. Sun Balance contains 800 mg of Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), a naturally occurring lipid mediator; as well as 267 mg of Luteolin and 267 mg of Quercetin, both potent antioxidant flavonoids. I recommend taking three capsules of SunBalance daily.

Teavigo

Teavigo is a standardized green tea extract. Its potency is impressive as it contains 94% EGCg. Teavigo delivers 200 mg of standardized caffeine-free pure EGCg, otherwise known as Epigalocatechin-3-Gallate. A recent study of the therapeutic effects of EGCg defined the benefits as follows, “Thanks to multiple interactions with cell surface receptors, intracellular signaling pathways, and nuclear transcription factors, EGCG possesses a wide variety of anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antifibrotic, and tissue-protective properties which may be useful in the treatment of various diseases, particularly in cancer, and neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory, and metabolic disorders.” Tomorrow’s Nutrition Pro provided Teavigo as an easy way to reap these powerful benefits. This supplement is a great option for overall Systemic Support. A capsule of Teavigo can be opened and mixed into hot water as a tea if desired, or you can simply take the capsule once or twice daily.

Master Supplements

Master Supplements focuses their expertise on probiotics. They focus on high-quality strains, and making sure your body receives everything that those strains have to offer. Master Supplements does this with their patented deep delivery paired with the prebiotic LactoStim®. This allows proper delivery and subsequently, greater growth and activity of the high-quality strains being delivered. Master Supplements has many standout products including: Theralac, TheralacPRO, TruFlora, TruBifido, TruBifidoPRO, and TruFiber

Theralac

Theralac is a highly potent probiotic that is able to do its work in your body because of acid-proof delivery and prebiotic stimulation. Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria help support your digestive and immune health, which can help you feel better overall. I suggest taking one capsule of Theralac daily for general support, but taking 2 daily for greater digestive support. Theralac can be taken with antibiotics, but you should allow at least 3 hours of separation between taking antibiotics and Theralac. Theralac’s ingredients can be found here.
This formula is
Dairy Free, GMO Free, and Vegan.  It contains No: Milk, Eggs, Gluten, Wheat, Soy, Casein, Nuts, Seafood, or Beef Products.

Theralac PRO

TheralacPRO is an even more complete formula and is considered a professional probiotic. It is officially Informed Sport Certified as it has been tested for over 250 banned substances. I suggest the same dosage for TheralacPRO, take 1 capsule daily for general support, 2 capsules a day if you’re looking for additional digestive support. TheralacPRO can also be taken with antibiotics, allow at least 2 hours separation. TheralacPRO ingredients can be found here.

This formula is Dairy Free, GMO Free, and Vegan.  It contains No: Milk, Eggs, Gluten, Wheat, Soy, Casein, Nuts, Seafood, or Beef Products.

TruFlora

TruFlora combines 3 probiotics with 2 enzymes to help cleanse your digestive tract and support overall digestive and immune health. This purge of the G.I. tract helps in promoting healthy bacterial balance within your gut. Master Supplements’ delivery system allows for deep delivery of beneficial bacteria which can make a world of difference. TruFlora is a great option to work in rotation with Theralac and TruBifido as the function differs. When taking TruFlora, I suggest taking 1 capsule daily, increasing up to 2 for additional digestive support. TruFlora can be taken with antibiotics; allow at least 2 hours separation. TruFlora ingredients can be found here.

This formula is Dairy Free, GMO Free, and Vegan.  It contains No: Milk, Eggs, Gluten, Wheat, Soy, Casein, Nuts, Seafood, or Beef Products.

TruBifido

TruBifido includes 5 Probiotic strains, making it a high potency probiotic as it contains 30 billion CFU of Bifidobacteria. Bifidobacteria supports regularity, immunity, and strengthens your colon. TriBifido does not include Lactobacillus bacteria as it can be too aggressive for some individuals. TruBifido is a great option to address dysbiosis. As with other Master Supplements’ probiotics, I suggest taking 1 capsule of TruBifido daily, increasing to 2 capsules a day for additional digestive support. You can take TruBifido with antibiotics, but you should separate by 2 hours. TruBifido ingredients can be found here.

This formula is Dairy Free, GMO Free, and Vegan.  It contains No: Milk, Eggs, Gluten, Wheat, Soy, Casein, Nuts, Seafood, or Beef Products.

TruBifidoPRO

TruBifidoPRO is a Professional Probiotic with increased potency of 50 Billion CFU and acid-proof delivery that is protected by seven U.S. patents. Bifidobacteria is typically more gentle on the body than other probiotic genera. This makes TruBifidoPRO a great option for those with more sensitive GI tracts. I suggest taking 1 TruBifidoPRO capsule daily, increasing to 2 capsules for additional support. TruBifidoPRO can also be taken with antibiotics; allow at least 2 hours separation. TruBifidoPRO ingredients can be found here.

This formula is Dairy Free, GMO Free, and Vegan.  It contains No: Milk, Eggs, Gluten, Wheat, Soy, Casein, Nuts, Seafood, or Beef Products.

US Enzymes

U.S. Enzymes specializes in just that - Enzymes! Their supplements range from broad-spectrum support to more specialized and targeted supplements. This specificity allows for ideal customization, you can cater to your body’s specific needs. Most of the enzymes found in their supplements are sourced from Japan, even more specifically – Taiyo International. This is because Taiyo International has proven to pass U.S. Enzyme’s stringent supplier standards. The enzymes found in U.S. Enzyme Supplements are potent and pure, there are no unnecessary ingredients or long lists of fillers. Some stand-out U.S. Enzyme supplements are:  D3-XYM, NATTOXYM, DIGESTXYM, and BIOME-XYM.

D3-XYM

D3-XYM is a fermented vegan source of natural vitamin D that supports immunity and helps maintain strong bones. Seven digestive enzymes create a base that allows for maximum absorption and assimilation with the body. I suggest taking 1 capsule daily at any time, with or without food. D3-XYM ingredients can be found here.

Other Ingredients: Rice Extract, Capsule (vegetable cellulose, water).

This product is NON-DAIRY, NON-GMO, NON-SOY, Nut Free, Vegan and contains no gluten, fillers, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

NATTOXYM

The first things to remember about systemic enzymes, like NATTOXYM, is that they must be taken on an empty stomach for best results.  If you take them with food, their enzyme action will be used to digest your food instead of working within your bloodstream. NATTOXYME supports healthy circulation and vascular health.  NATTOXYM capsules are coated to protect the enzyme from your stomach acid and enable it to be absorbed in your small intestines.

I recommend taking 1 capsule 2 hours before or after a meal. For best results, take 1 capsule every 8 hours.

DIGESTXYM

DIGESTXYM is a full-spectrum plant-based digestive enzyme with additional mineral support.  Within your body, Digestive enzymes are made by and released from your pancreas while you eat. This process can be compromised by genetics, infection, inflammation, and infections. You cannot absorb nutrients from your foods unless those nutrients are broken down into a form that is ready for absorption and assimilation.  I recommend one capsule at the beginning of each meal.

BIOME-XYM

This probiotic contains 12 broad-spectrum probiotic strains that cover 5 genera (families).  The probiotic is delivered in an acid-resistant capsule so that the probiotics are released in your lower intestines.  Each dose (2 capsules) contains 50 billion CFU. I recommend 2 capsules on an empty stomach.

What are the side effects of Theralac probiotics?

Surprisingly, all probiotics can have the same initial side effects: gas and bloating may actually increase when starting a new probiotic.  This is due to a new balance of live organisms/probiotics in your colon.  I recommend starting low and slow with any new supplements, especially probiotics.

What is the #1 probiotic?

Theralac is the #1 best maintenance probiotic offered by Master Supplements.  Many probiotics offer specialized strains for specific symptoms, like Ortho Biotic Women’s formulation or Genestra’s HMF Neuro Powder for mental health and cognition.

What is the downside of taking probiotics?

The only downside to taking probiotics is a temporary adjustment and re-balancing of your microbiome, which may cause gas and bloating.

Is there anything you should avoid when taking probiotics?

Those on immune suppressing drugs or treatments should discuss their probiotics with their healthcare practitioner.

Theralac probiotic where to buy?

You can purchase Theralac and other high quality probiotics here.

TruBifido is a strong dose of 5 strains of bifidobacterium to colonize your colon.  This formula does not contain any lactobacillus probiotic strains for those who are sensitive to lactobacillus or addressing dysbiosis.

Is D Mulsion the same as D3?

D-Mulsion is a liquid vitamin D3 emulsified (blended) in olive oil to achieve better absorption.  It does contain Vitamin D3.

What does D3 do for the body?

Vitamin D3 is more than a vitamin and is usually called a hormone or immune factor.  It is vital for bone, immune, and mental health.

Vitamin D3 is a substance that can be manufactured within your body when you are exposed to sunlight.  It is a messenger for hormones, bone health, mental health and immune function.

What is Nattoxym?

Nattoxym is a high potency nattokinase enzyme supplement with additional mineral and enzymes to ensure absorption and utilization.

What does Nattokinase do for your health?

Nattokinase is a systemic enzyme that supports your cardiovascular health by breaking down fibrin in your bloodstream.

What is Digestxym?

DIGESTXYM is a plant-based full-spectrum digestive support designed with enzymes to help break down each macronutrient category (protein, carbohydrates, and fats).

What are the side effects of digestive enzymes?

If taken in excess, digestive enzymes may cause diarrhea.  Start with one digestive enzyme with each large meal and titrate up as needed.

What are digestive enzymes good for?

Digestive enzymes break apart larger food molecules so the nutrients can be absorbed.  Gas, bloating, constipation, and diarrhea can all be signs that your digestion is inadequate.

What is the best enzyme for belly fat?

Lipase is the enzyme that break down fats within your body.  Taking a lipase enzyme is one way to support fat loss.  Lipase is included in full-spectrum enzyme supplements such as DIGESTXYM
