Joint Support Nutrients goes beyond simple glucosamine supplementation. It adds nutrients to provide relief from occasional soreness and stiffness.
Joint Support Nutrients combines the preeminent joint support ingredient, glucosamine, with other nutrients and botanicals that also support joint health. Glucosamine demonstrates significant joint support, as evidenced by numerous clinical studies. Methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM) also helps support joint integrity and mobility. Bromelain promotes healing after trauma.
Thorne's Meriva® ingredient – curcumin bound to phospholipids – and boswellia both exert an antioxidant effect and help maintain a healthy cytokine balance (for a normal inflammatory response) in the joints and muscles. Joint Support Nutrients combines all of these ingredients in a single comprehensive joint support supplement.

INTERACTIONS/CONTRAINDICATIONS
Curcumin has been shown to reduce the therapeutic efficacy of cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan) in animal studies. In vitro research revealed that curcumin decreased camptothecin-induced death of cultured breast cancer cells. Curcumin might also interfere with the absorption and efficacy of the chemotherapy drug irinotecan, used to treat colon cancer. The concurrent use of curcumin with these agents should be avoided.
Because bromelain has fibrinolytic effects, potentially inhibiting blood clotting, Joint Support Nutrients should be used with caution or avoided in individuals on anticoagulant therapy.
