Designs For Health Brain Vitale

Brain Vitale™ is a unique formulation designed to optimize brain function, and to support healthy cognition, mood, and memory. It contains a comprehensive array of brain-supportive nutrients, including acetyl-l-carnitine, glycerophosphocholine (GPC), phosphatidylserine (PS), Ginkgo biloba (standardized to contain 24% ginkgoflavonglycosides), and citicoline. Also included is a unique coffee fruit concentrate extracted from the whole coffee cherry, including the flesh of the berry that surrounds the coffee bean and contains several distinctive compounds not found in coffee beans themselves.

Brain Vitale™ provides building blocks for brain phospholipids, crucial structural components of neurons’ synapses. It is formulated to help assist with various aspects of brain health, such as cell energy production, mitochondrial support, and antioxidant protection.

Brain Vitale™ is a unique nootropic formulation whose ingredients provide overlapping benefits through complementary and synergistic mechanisms of action.

GPC – a naturally occurring source of choline; it is a water-soluble molecule shown to be a more clinically effective source of choline than choline or phosphatidylcholine (PC) from diet or supplements; helps to increases choline reserves inside neurons, where it is used for synthesis of PC and ACh.

Citicoline (CDP-choline) – broken down during intestinal absorption into two compounds: 1) choline, which crosses the BBB and may be used for ACh production, and 2) cytidine, which boosts synthesis of cytidine triphosphate (CTP), a cofactor for the reaction incorporating choline into phosphatidylcholine. Thus, citicoline supplies precursors for the synthesis of phospholipids, major constituents of brain tissue that support neuronal communication.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR) – a derivative of L-carnitine; is actively transported across the BBB; complements compounds that provide the choline component of ACh, such as GPC or citicoline.

Coffee Fruit Concentrate – stimulates the production of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a protein that stimulates the development, differentiation, and protection of neuronal survival in the central and peripheral nervous systems and is linked to cognitive and mental health.

Phosphatidylserine (PS) – a crucial component of cell and mitochondrial membranes, making it essential for optimal brain function. PS has a unique role in supporting neurotransmitter release and receptor function, as well as intracellular signaling, all of which enhance communication between brain cells.

Ginkgo biloba – helps improve microcirculation to brain cells, thus helpful for supporting memory, a healthy balance of catecholamine, serotonin and cortisol levels, and offering the brain protection from stress-induced neuronal death.
