Liposomal Hydroxy B12™ is a slow-release, long-acting form of vitamin B12. Hydroxocobalamin may help your body maintain more steady levels of B12. Like the methylcobalamin form, hydroxocobalamin is highly absorbed, yet, its slower release time may be better tolerated by certain people.
Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin necessary for the maintenance of a healthy nervous system, enhanced cognition, and for the metabolic utilization of fats and proteins. It is also essential for the synthesis of DNA during cell division and therefore, is especially important for rapidly multiplying cells, such as blood cells.
