Policosanol is a mixture of long chain alcohols extracted from sugar cane wax. Some preliminary research suggests that Policosanol supports cardiovascular health by helping to support healthy cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range. It may also help maintain healthy platelet aggregation levels that are already in the normal range, and promote the health of the peripheral arteries.
