Global Health Trax - Looking Out For Your Gut
Over the past couple of years, we have seen a boom in concerns about gut health. It is now common knowledge that most illnesses start in the digestive system. My clients are learning more about the gut-brain axis and how balancing your microbiome can have body-wide positive effects. Global Health Trax has three different formulas that we will be going over in this blog post. For a good refresher on the importance of gut health, check out my 2020 blog post on Global Health Trax here.
An important element of your gut health is making sure that the “good” flora isn’t being overpowered by “bad” flora. When this happens, there can be a variety of side effects:
- Anxiety
- Melancholy
- Irritability
- Lethargy
- Acne
- Dry skin
- Itching
- Food or environmental allergies
Targeted Probiotics
Diet and lifestyle determine the balance between good and bad flora in your gut. Our modern diets don't provide a lot of fiber, which is food for good bacteria. We also eat way too many processed foods, sugar, and chemicals that are likely to feed the bacteria or make our gut more susceptible to invasion by pathogens. Probiotic supplements are your best way to make up for a bad diet or lifestyle and provide some immune support.
ThreeLac
ThreeLac comes in capsule form and in powder form. It supports healthy digestion and fits conveniently into an active lifestyle with individual packets. The three active ingredients are powerful probiotics that can help with digestion and crowd out bad flora in your GI tract. To read about the non-active ingredients, check out my first Global Health Trax blog post here.
Both the capsules and the powder packets have three active ingredients: Bacillus coagulans, Bacillus subtilis, and Enterococcus faecalis. These three are all safe probiotic strains and bacteria. ThreeLac is legal to use in the United States, contrary to what some Google searching may claim.
Like other supplements, choosing the correct dosing is important. For the capsules, the starting dose is two capsules per day. If a higher dose is needed, you can gradually increase the daily dose. The amount may vary from person to person, so moving slowly is always best. Otherwise, you may cause a die-off reaction and create systemic inflammation. The symptoms of systemic inflammation feel like the flu: fatigue, headache, brain fog and body aches. The capsules can be taken at any time of day with or without meals.
For the powder packets, I recommend starting with two packets a day. Like the capsules, you can gradually increase the daily amount if needed. Empty the packet contents into your mouth and follow with water, or add the powder to a few ounces of water and drink. The powder can also be taken at any time of day with or without meals.
FAQs for ThreeLac
What is ThreeLac used for?
I recommend ThreeLac for general health. The three strains are proven to maintain healthy balance in your microbiome.
Is ThreeLac good for Candida?
Yes, ThreeLac can help to establish a healthy balance of flora in your microbiome. If you still have symptoms after using a 30-day supply of ThreeLac, I recommend using FiveLac or SevenLac.
ThreeLac Reviews

“I use these for travel all the time, no need for refrigeration!!”
Janet P. uses the ThreeLac Powder Packets and said:
“I was very grateful to find this vendor. Their website was easy to navigate and I was able to complete my purchase using PayPal. ThreeLac is a life-changing product. I remember how great I felt once the candida was subdued and look forward to that experience again!”
Kenneth J. used the ThreeLac Capsules:
“Very good effective product.”
FiveLac
FiveLac’s goal is similar to that of ThreeLac. It is designed to replenish the friendly bacteria in your GI tract to support digestive health and wellness.
FiveLac has the same active ingredients as ThreeLac with the addition of two additional microflora: Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum. Lactobacillus acidophilus is one of the most common probiotic strains. You can find it in many probiotic formulas. It can assist in replacing the friendly bacteria in your GI tract that may have been destroyed due to antibiotics, diet, stress, or medications. Additionally, this strain can help enhance and strengthen your immune system. Lactobacillus acidophilus strengthens your body’s immune responses. Bifidobacterium longum is another probiotic strain commonly seen in probiotic products. Lab studies have determined that this strain has the potential to enhance gut barrier function. Your gut barrier function can be damaged by infections, poor diet and medications.
The dosing for FiveLac is similar to the dosing for the ThreeLac powder packets. Start with one to two packets per day, building gradually as needed.
FAQs for FiveLac
What is the difference between Threelac and Fivelac?
Fivelac has the same 3 probiotic strains as ThreeLac: Bacillus coagulans, Bacillus subtilis and Enterococcus faecalis. On top of those three strains of healthy flora, FiveLac also includes Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum
When should I take Fivelac?
I recommend FiveLac if you have occasional diarrhea or have Leaky Gut or SIBO. I also recommend it for those who have short term diarrhea due to illness or antibiotic use.

SevenLac
SevenLac is the strongest formula that Global Health Trax offers. With two more strains than the FiveLac formula, SevenLac is intended for chronic conditions like IBS and allergies. The additional strains in this formula include Lactobacillus Rhamnosus and Lactobacillus Johnsonii. A 2021 study investigated the effects of addressing a cow’s milk allergy in children with Lactobacillus Rhamnosus. Lactobacillus Johnsonii was used in another 2021 study for its benefits combined with blueberry polyphenols to analyze the GI conditions of rats. A high-fat diet was fed to the rats to analyze their lipid metabolism. Not only could research like this be important for the breakdown of fats, but also for the regulation of the aging process.
SevenLac comes in two flavors - lemon and apple. The dosing is the same for FIveLac - beginning with one or two packets a day and increasing as needed.
SevenLac Reviews
Vicki P. uses SevenLac powder said:
