What You Need To Know About Emuaid

by Carly Neubert, BA, NC on July 20, 2017

Emuaid combines the healing power of emu oil and several other therapeutic nutrients to provide a safe and natural alternative to over-counter creams and salves.

If you have ever scoured the drugstore shelves looking for relief, then you know that it is almost impossible to find a "clean" and non-toxic cream that addresses a variety of skin conditions. Emuaid is a welcome answer to this problem. Only high quality and non-toxic ingredients are utilized to formulate this versatile remedy.

What Does Emuaid Do? How Does it Work?

Emuaid is a staple remedy for any healthy home pharmacy. Because of its therapeutic ingredients Emuaid is useful for a variety of ailments. The formula includes emu oil, tea tree oil, argentum metallicum, and several other healing nutrients. The combination of ingredients provide anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial healing. Emuaid can be applied to any external skin irritation.

What Is In Emuaid? What Are The Ingredients?

Emuaid has 3 high quality ingredients that set it apart from all of the other creams available.

Melaleuca alternifolia is commonly known as tea tree. It is a native Australian plant which has been used for hundreds of years. The oil extract from tea trees has both anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Tea tree oil stands up against common topical acne creams. Most acne creams contain 5% benzoyl peroxide. Tea tree matches the strength of the benzoyl peroxide but without the harsh side effects.

Tea tree oil is recognized for its ability to kill numerous microorganisms including yeast (Candida Albicans) and many other fungi. The broad spectrum anti-microbial nature of tea tree oil is convenient for addressing unidentified skin irritations and infections.

Argentum Metallicum is also known as colloidal silver. History teaches that colloidal silver was a common treatment for skin conditions as early as 400 B.C. Hippocrates treated his patients with topical silver to heal wounds and infections.

In the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, physicians regularly utilized colloidal silver as a natural antibiotic. It was prescribed for wounds, gonorrhea, the common cold and epilepsy.  The development of antibiotics gained attention in 1940 and colloidal silver was forgotten.

In modern times, colloidal silver is used to sterilize medical bandages, breathing tubes, and infant eye drops. It is also available in liquid form in varying strengths.

The indigenous people of Australia have employed emu oil as food and medicine for thousands of years. Emu oil is primarily unsaturated fatty acids. Human skin is also composed of unsaturated fatty acids. Because the fatty structure of emu oil is so similar to human skin, the oil is absorbed and utilized very quickly. In fact, emu oil is twenty times more effective than mineral oil.  Emu oil also acts as a nourishing "food" source to damaged skin cells.

Emuaid is completely free from chemicals, artificial preservatives, lanolin, alcohol, parabens, steroids, petrochemicals, and fragrances. There aren't any toxic fillers or chemical agents. This would be a great time to leave a question or comment about these ingredients down below!

What Conditions Can Emuaid Be Used For?

It will prevent infections in minor scrapes and cuts. It can reduce inflammation from razor burns, sunburns, blisters and bites. Emuaid can be applied to any topical skin condition including eczema and psoriasis. Many of my clients have received tremendous relief from shingles' symptoms. Emuaid is laboratory proven for killing bacteria on your skin within one minute of application.

All skin conditions have two things in common: infection and inflammation. Bacteria, virus and fungi are all classified as microorganisms. You share your life with trillions of microorganisms every day---all day. These microscopic organisms live on your skin and in your body. When you cut or scrape your skin, you open a door for microorganisms to get inside your body, specifically your blood stream. Once in your bloodstream, microorganisms can multiply and cause infections. This is why cuts, scrapes and wounds need to be kept clean.

When you clean a cut, you are literally washing away microorganisms so that they won't infect your bloodstream and tissues. But sometimes washing a cut isn't enough and you end up with a local infection (pus) or a systemic infection. Tea tree and colloidal silver are both strong antimicrobial agents alone. When all three ingredients are combined in Emuaid, you have a guaranteed way to avoid an infected cut or scrape.

What Are Other Benefits to Using Emuaid?

Tea tree oil significantly improves acne without the harsh drying and peeling that accompanies many other acne creams. Tea tree has also been studied for treating radiation dermatitis, rosacea and psoriasis.

Colloidal silver has also been studied for treating eczema and nasal staph infections. Many well-known physicians use proponents of colloidal silver for addressing several common conditions.

The emu oil in Emuaid provides a moist wound healing environment. In other words, emu oil keeps the damaged tissues moist so that cells will heal quickly. The moist healing also leaves less scaring. Emu oil also acts as a vehicle to deliver colloidal silver (aregentum metallicum) and tea tree directly to the cells. Without the emu oil, the tea tree oil and colloidal silver would sit on top of your skin, unable to enter the damaged skin cells.

Users have reported success with toe-nail fungus, warts, shingles, lichen planus, poison oak, lichen sclerosus, cellulitis, hemorrhoids, diabetic ulcerations, boils, psoriasis and eczema.

What is The Difference Between Emuaid and EmuaidMax?

Emuaid comes in two strengths: original and "max." The maximum strength has 2x more Bacillus Ferment, 10x more Tea Tree Oil, and 50x more Vitamin E than the regular strength Emuaid.

I recommend EmuaidMax for stubborn or painful skin conditions like psoriasis or shingles. For mild cuts and bites, Emuaid regular is sufficient.

Is Emuaid Safe to Use?

Many over the counter creams and remedies come with a lot of side effects and warnings. Emu oil has been compared to numerous other topical creams. There are no reported side effects or dangers.

In lab tests, tea tree oil kills yeast and fungi, but leaves human cells undamaged. Pure and diluted tea tree oil, as found in Emuaid, is safe for topical use. Emuaid is manufactured in an FDA registered facility. Emuaid is regulated for safety by the Food and Drug Administration.

If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, do not use Emuaid. With its reliable and proven therapeutic nutrients, Emuaid is a versatile solution to common and stubborn skin conditions.
