    50 mg Ubiquinol

CoQ10 in its potent antioxidant form that is more difficult for the body to generate as we age and for individuals with certain health conditions.

Two beneficial forms of CoQ10, ubiquinone, and ubiquinol, are continually recycled in the body. Ubiquinol acts as a powerful antioxidant in mitochondria and lipid membranes. Sufficient amounts of both forms are needed for efficient ATP production. Normally, ubiquinone is efficiently reduced to ubiquinol during absorption or shortly after entering the bloodstream. However, this ability declines with age and may be compromised in certain individuals. As ubiquinol can be directly utilized by the body, CoQH™ is a good alternative for those who may have difficulty converting ubiquinone to ubiquinol. Pure ubiquinol is solubilized in d-limonene oil and stabilized with natural emulsifying agents.

CoQH is available in 50 mg and 100 mg of the active form of CoQ10 in softgels.

    More Info.

There are two forms of Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), ubiquinone and ubiquinol, which are continually recycled in the body from one form to the other. While both forms are needed for energy production, ubiquinol is the most common form and can be directly utilized by the body. In addition to advancing age, poor diet, illness, and certain medications can impair the body’s ability to produce CoQ10. Klaire Labs’ CoQH provides CoQ10 in a reduced ubiquinol form.

    Product Features:

    • A special antioxidant: CoQ10 is the only fat-soluble antioxidant created in the human body. CoQ10 inhibits the oxidation of vital molecules such as DNA. It also recycles and regenerates other antioxidants such as vitamin E and vitamin C.
    • Key for energy production: The body requires a constant production of energy to maintain cell and tissue function. A significant amount of energy produced by the body depends on adequate levels of cellular CoQ10. Relatively high concentrations of CoQ10 normally exist in cardiac muscle which is a major reason why CoQ10 is linked to cardiovascular health.
    • Supports healthy aging: Tissue levels of CoQ10 steadily decline with age. As levels decline, the ability of cells to maintain adequate energy production and protect from damage diminishes. CoQ10 supplementation is the best way to support optimal levels of this important compound to support healthy aging.

    Background

CoQ10 is a unique compound that is essential for health on the cellular and systems level. Inside every cell, CoQ10 acts as an important cofactor inside the mitochondria, the “engine” of the cell. With the support of CoQ10, the mitochondria create energy to fuel cellular function and health. In addition, CoQ10 acts as an antioxidant, protecting tissues from free radicals and research has demonstrated the supportive role this compound plays in cardiovascular and neurologic health.
