Elderberry contains several active components, such as quercetin and other flavonoids like anthocyanins and rutin, as well as vitamins A and C. One of the most well-known properties of elderberry is its antiviral activity. Research conducted in Israel has shown that it can render certain spike proteins inactive, preventing the virus from entering cells.
The elderberry tincture is extracted using organic cane alcohol, which is then boiled off to the maximum extent possible while retaining its potency. Afterward, organic glycerin is added.
