Premier Research Labs' cold filtration process does not require heavy manipulation, high heat processing, or the use of harsh solvents to separate the EPA and DHA. While fish supplements that have concentrated EPA/DHA by molecular distillation may often be cheaper, this altered oil does not occur in nature.
